Dining Facilities |
The John Burr Suite is the main dining room, and is situated on the ground floor. It has level wheelchair access from the car park, and seats a maximum 126 members and their guests for a Festive Board. The second dining room is called The Kingsbury room, and can seat a maximum of 28 to dine. Both rooms have easy access to the toilet facilities, including those for our disabled members and guests, from a short corridor that links both rooms. During an average year, Ashwell House members and their guests consume almost 10,000 three or four course meals, more than 1,000 bottles of wine, and 10,000 pints of beer. In addition to Masonic dining, Ashwell House is open for members private dining occasions, and has a music licence. We welcome events such as, Ladies Festivals, Lodge Suppers, Wedding receptions, Funeral receptions and Reunion dinners, and we are happy to accommodate your individual needs.
